No cookies are set — not our own, and not from any third party, whether for essential functionality, statistics, marketing, or tracking. That's why we don't show a cookie-consent banner: a banner asking for permission for something that isn't happening would be misleading.

What we store locally instead

This site uses a single feature of your browser's localStorage (a storage technology treated similarly to a cookie for legal purposes, but which is not a file sent to our server):

• Age check confirmation (key twd-age-verified): a timestamp confirming you've successfully passed our age check. We do not store your birth year or your calculated age — only the fact and time of confirmation. This confirmation expires automatically after about 12 months, after which you'll be asked again.

This information never leaves your browser — it isn't sent to us or to any third party. We treat this as necessary for the purpose of the site (checking your age before granting access to alcohol-related content), which in our own, non-binding assessment should be permissible without separate consent — see the note below.

How to clear it

You can clear your browser's local storage at any time via your browser settings (usually under "Clear browsing data" or "Manage website data"). You'll then be asked for your birth year again on your next visit.
